
Ardor 2.1, a fine dining restaurant located in CP is known for its serving mega-sized thalis like Khali Bali Baahubali Thali and pitcher has unveiled its Election Special Thali at a starting price tag of Rs. 1,999. The Election Special Thali will be officially launched on April 11th on the same day as the first phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. The vegetarian Election Special Thali cost Rs. 1,999 + taxes while the non-vegetarian Election Special Thali cost Rs. 2,299 + taxes.
The Elections Special Thali is the restaurant’s second product after the 56-inch Khali Bali Baahubali Thali. Also, like Khali Bali Baahubali Thali, the Election Special Thali is not an unlimited Thali but on À la carte basis and not limited to a number of people. According to the owner, as a mark of respect for the elections in a particular state on the specific dates, the food items will be complementary to all the guests. For example, on May 12th when the elections are in Delhi, the Delhi’s cuisine will be free for all the guests and in the same manner state specific cuisine will be free as the per the election date.



The Election Special Thali consists of 28 cuisines from 28 states of India on a single plate and it includes delicacies from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Taking creativity to the next level, the thali looks unique and is in the shape of the Indian map. The Election Special Thali weighs 5.5kg and there are around 10.5kg food items in weight. The Election Special Thali is available in two options – vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali. The vegetarian thali include food items like Paneer Butter Masala, Litti Chokha, Dhokla and Khandvi, Gongura Pachdi, Veg Sha Phalye, Aloo Posto, Himachali Chhole, Bisi Bele Bhath, Dal Pachrangi while the non-vegetarian thali include food items like Chicken Butter Masala, Biryani, Kosha Mangsho, Galouti Kebabs, Mutton Pepper Fry, Chicken Chettinad, Goan Fish Curry, and Chicken Sha Phaley. Along with Special Thali, the place also serves Pudina Chutney, Rasam, and Bhaang Ki Chutney. In dessert, you’ll get Raj Bhog and Sago Kheer.
For those who do not know, the 56-inch Khali Bali Baahubali Thali is a paradise for any foodie and touted as India’s largest thali with over 8kgs of food weight whereas the total weight of Thali is 13kg. To carry the Thali, around 2-3 people needed and more than 4 people needed to finish it. The Khali Bali Thali has a lot of variety of food and can be refilled at any time. The Thaali comes in two variants – Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian and is super-loaded with some of their best food preparations.
