The Mi Air Purifier 2S comes with an OLED digital display that provides information such as PM2.5 levels in the house, temperature and humidity levels. The display has an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on the lightning levels in your home and it comes with smarter home integration, and precise air purification. The higher-precision laser sensor can detect particulate matter 0.3-micron in size, which is filtered with the 360-degree triple layer filter that can pick up particles like allergens, animal fur, formaldehyde, dust, pollen, and cigarette smoke from the air.
The company has made it easy to change the three-in-one air filter, a cylindrical case can be easily removed by opening the back panel. Once opened, you can choose one of three different filters: a standard one, one imbued with additional properties to remove formaldehyde from the air – great when moving into a newly renovated place – and a third which is designed for superior trapping of bacterial nasties.
The Mi Air Purifier 2S comes with a clean air delivery speed of 310 cubic mete per hour and has an effective cleaning range of from 21 to 37 square meters or 226-398 square feet. Additionally, the company has drilled 943 intake hole to increase air intake and circulate air better.
The Mi Air Purifier 2S is quietier at 30dB and it is energy efficient. According to Xiaomi, they have made the custom-made motor that draws a mere of 4.8 watts in normal operation, which is less than a typical energy-saving light bulb.
